This is a maze game in which you, a ghost, have to dig away at the
earth but as you do this spiders are set free and they have an
anoying habit of killing you. Not bad.

This is a game for children really. It is essentially a Pac man clone.
The levels are very simple and the skill level required is quite low.
The graphics and sound effects are quite amusing. Good for the kids.

This is a two disk slideshow explaining how you can see your own
spiritual aura! Yes its true with the instructions on this disk you

This is a disk magazine/book which tells you a hell of a lot about
the Premier League side. You can read about each of the squad and all
about the club as well. Very good.

In this game you fly a Zeplin. You don't have a great deal to do
accept for destroying a whole load of little round things whilst
avoiding numerous dangers etc etc.. There is a trainer attached to
this game if you find it too difficult. Good graphics. Very good.

A very good game. This is a classic arkanoid clone with many
excellent and colourful levels as you progress through it. Great
graphics and sound effects. Very good.

This is indeed a mind scrambling two player game. You drive an RV and
have to go around blowing up tanks and guns and stuff as well as
mowing down soldiers. Great fun, good graphics.

Terra-forming eh? What a business. You must initialize the
Terra-formation of the planet Mercury by clearing it of five
dangerous energy crystals. A thrust type game with good graphics and
sound effects.

This, as you may have guessed already, is a Pacman clone. The
graphics are good and the playability is just about as close to the
original as I have ever seen. There several skill levels to choose
from as well as the option to play an enhanced version over the
classic version. Very good.

^+ 4312 XBALLS
This is a game in which you must build a circuit from various icons
in order to get the X Balls through each level. Good graphics.

This is an animation which tells a story about the Vikings of Britain
centuries ago. The graphics are nice and there is also quite a lot of
information to read and view as you go along, including maps and
diagrams. Very good.

This game is a bit of an Alien Breed clone. You have to march around
the levels blowing the smeg out of everything! Great.

Demon is a patience cardgame based on one by the name of Canfield. It
is reasonably difficult to play but there is a good help system built
into the game. The graphics are good and the gameplay is addictive.
Very good.

This is a superb four player puzzle/boardgame. Simply, you must try
to take the other players' pieces by moving next to them. Your piece
can then infect any ocupied squares around it. Hard to explain. A
very good game.

Turbo Thrust involves two player racing high speed spacecraft. With
split screen action you can't ask for more. There are tracks a plenty
and options for speed and laps etc. Great graphics, great game.

The eighth edition of this superb line of disk mags. There are many
different sections from Scene to Fiction. There are jokes, stories
and much much more. Deadlock is a great magazine with good graphics

Deluxe Galaga is based on the game StarBattle (vic20) & has some of
the features of Galaga and Galaxions. This is a simple shoot'em up
game with good game play but not so much fancy graphics.

There are some superb graphical effects in this demo. Included are
some outstanding 3D rotating fractals, a great routine showing a desk

This demo has some original routines such as the part which makes

A great AGA demo! There are loads of different effects such as

A superb demo. The graphics in this demo are of an outstanding
quality. The demo runs through very smoothly with some great logos,
effects and more. The soundtrack in the most part has a reggae feel
to it. Very, very good.

A great production. There are some good original effects in this demo.
One outstanding routine involves a dot vector skull rotating and
then morphing into a dot vector hand. There is some good morphing of
portraits at the end of the demo also. Very good.

Great AGA demo. There are some superb routines including one which
has the APEX logo scrolling over a rippling landscape. Some great
graphics here as well as a good soundtrack. Good.

A pretty bog standard sort of intro. Good graphics, good soundtrack,
all the usual effects - dot vectors, bouncing balls etc plus some
original routines such as the realtime raytracing of a rotating

This demo starts off well with a 4096 colour rotating pixel zoom.
Then everything gets rather long winded and boring. A three disk set
which has some pretty good effects but nothing spectacular. Not bad.

Another great demo for the Amiga. There are some great graphics in
this production as well as a good little soundtrack. Nothing unusual
or particularly original but indeed a very good demo. Great.

Apparently, the final part of a trilogy of demos all entitled
Toothbrush. This, the third part, is like a long animation showing a
bloke cleaning his teeth! These images are digitised and they flash
across your screen like a flashing strobe, in time with the rave tune.
Very good but strange.

This demo is highly original and in fact quite humourous. Unlike most
intros and demos this one has rock music, no hardcore or techno here.
The demo shows an osterich head banging to heavey metal followed by a
sketch from beavis and butthead who decide to kick their TV.
Excellent.

This demo is absoloutly superb. Every routine in this demo looks good.
There is nothing particularly new but it all works so smoothly and
moves with the soundtrack so well that its just great! It's fast
moving and entertaining to watch. Outstanding graphics. Superb.

If like me you like to see some stats on screen then you'll like the
loader on this demo which has readouts showing the bytes loaded and
decrunched in realtime as well as two timers to see how fast it all
happens. The next great routine is a raytraced chess board and this
is viewed and zoomed at every angle. Then there is a superb picture
followed by fractals and much much more! Superb.

This demo is very average. The best thing about it must be the music.
It is AGA but you would not know that if you weren't told. The demo
has to be installed onto a hard drive in order to run which is a pain
but probably worth it. All in all a good demo. Not bad.

This is one classy demo. It kicks straight into a great soundtrack
and then come a whole buch of superb routines followed by a great

then buying a Beverly Hills 90210 magazine! Excellent.

This is a great car game. You must drive your racing car around
several different tracks in this overhead view game. You can purchase

This is a great little tetris clone. With great graphics and gameplay
this is good all round game. There are a couple of nice touches such

This game is another overhead view racing game. You can select from

in this thrust like game. Brilliant but very difficult.

that life patterns are not limited to the size of the display, but

life patterns - 220 to be precise.

move. Also features serial/modem link support for playing against a
friend (or foe) who is only a phone call away. And you can type

Quest has 50 levels, getting progressively harder, and the final
animation is worth persevering for. You have to use your wizard to
create and destroy blocks on each screen to create a safe path for
your master to walk to the exit. There are various monsters
(skeletons, wraiths, beholders and jack o' lanterns) to hinder you,
each with different characteristics, as well as locks, keys and
transporters. The closest reference point is Lemmings, but Wizzys
Quest is quite a unique game.

the best. The first game is called Interstate in which you have to
out wit the computer by picking the right cards. It is based on cars
so the cards say things like fuel stop, speedup, stop and wild card.
The second game is called Firestaffs of R.A. which is played on a
draughts board. It is a multi-player game in which you start in the
corners of the board and have to hit your opponent with your
firestaff. Quite a good game. The third game on it is called
Rockslide, it is very simular to Tetris but you use balls and you
have to match up the colours. This game is very addictive and easy
to get into. Overall three good games.

other wise you die. Super Daleks is a game where you have to get to

The first game of the disk is China Tiles where you have to find two
of the same pictures but what makes it harder is that there are about
six different levels. It even lets you change some of the boards
with the editor at the start of it. Minerunner is the second game on
it. This is an update of the last version of Minerunner. If you
haven't played this game before you have to run around digging holes
so that the people running after you fall in them and get burried in
them. There are loads of levels so it will keep you happy for ages.
Think Ahead is the last game, it is exactly the same as matching
pairs. You have to remember what cards are where. The aim of the
game is to complete it in as little moves as possible.

Crush, Crumble and Chomp is a game where you are a dinosaur who has
to go around this map you are situated on and destroy houses, police
cars and anything in your path. This game is quite hard to get into.
Dragon Tiles is yet another game simular to matching pairs but on
different levels. Finally there is a game called Theta Incident
which is a game set in space, and you are a spaceship fireing at your
opponent in the top or bottom screen. This game is quite additive if
you get into it.

Colour 'N' Mind is on a split screen with little coloured blocks you
have to match up to beat your opponent on the other screen. This is
a very enjoyable game. High Pressure is a shoot em up game. It
involves you travelling through space in a spaceship shooting all the
things that come at you trying to destroy you. This is a superb
game.

is a mega demo that has some new effects aswell as some old ones. In
the demo it has two butterflys that look quite good flying around the
screen with effects on them. The music in the background isn't to
bad either compared to some other megademos. It lasts for just over
4 minutes which is good for a demo. Overall this is quite a good
megademo and worth getting.

is another management game based running your own Burgar bar. You
have to hire staff, buy tables and chairs and create your own recpies
from scratch. The best part of the game is when you make your own
burgars because you can put anything you want in and as much of it as
you want. This is quite a good management game if you want to run
your own Burgar bar.

This amusing little game can keep you addicted for quite a long time.
The point of the game is to bash up and kill all the other people in
there wheelchairs. The game is based on a star shaped screen in
which all the wheelchairs start off in different cornors of the star.
You have to pace it out of your cornor and try and collect any
weapons that appear on the screen. Not bad at all.

last couple of months. There are two car disks to this set. The
cars designed for this game on these 2 disks are Toyota Supra, Land

installation utility that allows you to install them in a very easy
process. If you like Skidmarks you must get this. Always race the
Wheelchair it's excellent.

and killing other toilets with funny looking weapons. Pac War is yet
another game involving pacman. You basically have to get more yelolw
dots than the person your playing while trying not to go stright into
a baddie.

is a game where you have to collect egg shaped items while traveling
through space in a star wars sort of aircraft. You travel through

megademo's.

is based on the game StarBattle on the old VIC20. That was one
excellent game, that I had a lot of fun with. It's also some
features from the games Galaga and Galaxions. I played Galaga on an
arcade machine, but it was so long ago that I have forgotten how it
looked like. My version of Galaga (or StarBattle) is a simple (?)
shoot'em up game with good game play, but not so much fancy graphics.
Many of todays game have lots and lots of graphics, but when it
comes to game play they really sucks. They have manuals covering
hundreds of pages, and you need hours and days to get into the game.
What I want from a game is some relaxation for a couple of minutes,
and then be able to quit the game and do some more work. And not to
mark the calender for when I want to play the 60MB hi-tech game!.

in 1983 when I first had my own computer - a Vic 20 - I had been

an advanced civilization eing punished for war crimes, and under an
indefinite forced peace treaty. The idea being to prove to the space
council that your colony could survive as a peaceful nation and earn
the right to recolonise all the planets taken away from them when
they lost the war.

by Activision way back in 1983. It first appeared on the Atari 2600
VCS. It's all about this guy (a H.E.R.O. actually) who has to
resque these miners from a series of caves linked together. He only
has a few bombs and a little laser in his helmet to kill the bugs and
spiders living in the mines. With the bombs he can blow away any
obstacles in his path. After resqueing the miner our H.E.R.O. moves
on to the next, more difficult level. Well difficult. Just a bit.
In fact, the game was a bit to easy. And that's what's great about
this new Amiga version. You can all contribute to the game. Make
cool levels and your level will be used.
